CAB FILTERS
A HEALTHIER AND MORE COMFORTABLE CAB FOR DRIVERS
All CNH filters have been approved by our engineers and guarantee that our cabs meet the European standard EN15695, which aims to improve the protection of the drivers of agricultural machines.
POLLEN FILTERS
These filters are recommended to protect operators against dust and pollen.
Cab pollen filters retain particles as small as 1 micron, including bacteria, pollen and dust that damage health.
They are made up of multiple-layers. This type of filter features a filter medium made of paper or nano-fiber (the latest filter paper technology), which conserves the air surrounding the operator, helping to prevent asthma and allergies.
Maximum life cycle: filters should be replaced every 600 hours or once a year* (whichever is reached first)
Cab pollen filters retain particles as small as 1 micron, including bacteria, pollen and dust that damage health.
CAUTION: POOR MAINTENANCE = DANGER
When the filter is saturated, ventilation capacity is significantly reduced and it becomes more difficult to renew the air. Therefore, it is essential to replace the filter regularly. If the filter is not replaced in time, the dirt that accumulates on the filter and the humidity caused by the conditioned air can be conducive to the development of bacteria and fungi in the ventilation ducts, producing harmful emissions and unpleasant odours inside the vehicle.
DO NOT!
- Blow the filter with compressed air, which can pierce the filter medium
- Wash the filter, as doing so may damage the filter medium. You must replace it!
- Dispose of the filter in the environment. It can be recycled
ACTIVE CARBON FILTERS
These filters are recommended to protect operators against dust and pollen and, first and foremost, against chemicals.
These filters provide better protection against chemicals used in agriculture, such as insecticides and pesticides, thereby protecting the operator's health.
100% of harmful solids, including dust particles, soot, pollen and bacteria, are filtered.
Active carbon has an extremely porous structure. Filtration uses a process of absorption, which is more efficient that paper filters.
Maximum life cycle: filters should be replaced every 200 hours or every 2 years* (whichever is reached first)

DID YOU KNOW?
When the filter is saturated, ventilation capacity is significantly reduced and it becomes more difficult to renew the air. Therefore, it is essential to replace the filter regularly. If the filter is not replaced in time, the dirt that accumulates on the filter and the humidity caused by the conditioned air can be conducive to the development of bacteria and fungi in the ventilation ducts, producing harmful emissions and unpleasant smells inside the vehicle.
DO NOT!
- Use these filters for any purposes other than their intended use
- Blow the filter with compressed air
- Dispose of the filter in the environment. It can be recycled
- Recharge the filter. It will be less efficient
TIPS TO KEEP YOUR ACTIVE CARBON FILTER EFFICIENT
For optimal performance, when you finish using the filter:
- Remove the filter from the cab
- Replace it with a standard pollen filter
- Store the active carbon filter in its original packaging, which must be carefully sealed, to keep your active carbon filter efficient
ALL OF CNH'S POLLEN AND ACTIVE CARBON FILTERS MEET THE STANDARD EN15695
The purpose of the European standard EN 15695 is to improve the protection of operators of agricultural machinery against substances that are harmful to health, such as dust, aerosols and steam, when spreading or spraying, by guaranteeing the protective properties of the various configurations of the cab. Here are the classes of CASE IH cabs according to the standard EN15695
| CAB CLASS | MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS | ||
